I really like the creativity of this piece.

I would like to offer just a bit of advice about how to take it to a very high quality. One thing that is off about it is that the image of the running man has much softer edge details and is blurrier compared to the flames and links of chain.

For successful compositing, there are a number of things you want to match between your donor image elements and the host image:
    • Selection edge quality: You do not want fringe, and the edge details cannot be too hard or too soft to blend into the host image. So you look at the edge detailing in the host image to set how hard or soft the selection edges need to be.

    • Overall hue has to match, so if the host image has a green bias, try to match it for the composite parts.

    • The general sharpness/blurriness value has to match.

    • The lightness/darkness has to match to the darkness/lightness of each elements zone, or light to dark gradient.

    • Make sure all light and cast shadows are consistent with a common light source.

    • Shading and surface light intensity must match for common light source direction, angle, and intensity.

    • Cast shadows must match. If one element is lit on its left side and the other in it right, you cannot put them side by side. So plan multiple shots with that in mind.

    • Resolution of each component must match.

    • If there is a canvas texture or other texture, it must match in all component parts.

    • Dynamic Range of all component parts must match.

    • Tonal Quality should also match in all component parts.
